Hey! I just wanted to let you know this to see what you think about it.
I have a boyfriend and we've been many years together by now. He lives with his mother and grandmother and he's 25 years old.
The thing is, he still lets his mother wake him up every morning, make him breakfast and even bring it to bed for him. His mother also fixes him everything he has to take to work, including his wallet. My boyfriend works in a factory and he doesn't have an own bank account, he actually shares his bank account with his mother and grandmother.
Also, every time my boyfriend goes out, his mother must know where he's going and when he'll be back because she worries a lot about him.

Do you think it's normal?

im 23, and live with my 26 yr old brother in a 2,300 sq foot house, and my parents moved out, i have 2 savings account, my own health insurance plan etc etc, and buy necessities. and pay rent when my parents live over 6miles from me..

about the bank account; its simple

3 accounts separated produce less interests, that one account with more money (if the economical situation allows it and you know how to play that money)

instead of having one cup of tea in the breakfast and some lardy donut, maybe he prefers to eat HEALTHIER (spelling?) and more complex to prepare at that time in the morning

anything else is called mum's love, and there is nothing wrong with it if the guy is not a total useless trash in live.

It seems like you think your boyfriend is a tad pathetic and you want other to assure you that he is.. But what does that say about you? You obviously want us to beleive he is pathetic by telling us all the stuff you told us.

You are with him for a reason, are you not? Seems like you want more people on your side and people backing up your ideas so you can feel justified for maybe trying to change him. Let him be who he is, if you dont like the way he is then move on to someone else.

That being said... he does sound pathetic but im assuming his mom never let him be independent. Its like growing up with a servant, you wont take initiative in cleaning the dishes if you never had to. Kill his mom and Grandma so he is forced to do shit for him self or he forces you to do shit for him.
